Vera L. Jones entered this life on January 30, 1945 and departed her life on June 18, 2024. She was born to Tom and Hester Jones. Vera was a kind loving woman who loved her kids and grandkids.
She leaves to cherish her memories three sons; Cedric (Felicia) Chatman of Mansfield, La., Greg (Yolanda) Davis, Jeremey (Hope) Chatman, of Chalmette, La., and one daughter; AleshiaJones of Lake Charles, La., a brother Curtis Jones of Mesquite, Tx., and two sisters; Brenda Jones of Mansfield, La., and Karen Baker of Shreveport, La.
Vera was preceded in death by her father Tom Jones, her mother Hester Jones, her daughter Kathryn Alexander Jones, her son Anthony Jones, a brother John Jones and grandson Kawan Alexander.
Vera had a host of grandkids nieces, great-grands, nephews, and friends. Special favorite cousin Sharon Diane White of Mission Viejo, California. Burial will be in Perkins Cemetery under the direction of Mortuary center of southwest louisiana.
