Mr. Paul
Trahan
Jul 27, 1961 — May 8, 2026
It is with great sadness that the family of Paul Trahan, 64, announce his passing from this life on May 8, 2026, after a courageous fight. Paul was born to Alfred and Ophelia Trahan in Jennings on July 27, 1961. Paul loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, extended family and his dog Peanut. He loved the outdoors, including hunting, fishing and mechanical work. Paul worked at the Tiger Drive In and the Strand Theatre as a young man. After starting a family with his late wife, Cindy Trahan, he worked in the oilfield. As his children grew, Paul found a more stable career at the Roanoke Rice Co-Op with Floyd Carter. Later, he worked at K & K Water, where he retired. Paul enjoyed his retirement, spending time with his loved ones and walking at the park, meeting new people. Paul is survived by his daughters Leslie Trahan and Paula Trahan, his two sisters Peggy Landry (Roger) and Ann Brown (Raymond); his 10 grandchildren, Kira Busby, Jude Busby II, Hailey Busby, Jazzlynn Hebert, Brendan Hebert, Alyssa Trahan, Jalil Boudreaux, Ariana Stewart, Marquis Etienne and Demarcus Etienne and one great-grandchild De'Marri Barrilleaux. Paul was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Cindy, his siblings Carl Trahan, Neal Trahan and Darrell Trahan, his sister in law Wanda Trahan, his granddaughter Haylee Sinegal, an angel great-grandchild, his doggy daughter Sammie and his parents Alfred and Ophelia Trahan.
