It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Shimirra Alana Boudreaux of Jennings, Louisiana, who was born on March 10, 1973.

Shimirra was raised in Jennings, Louisiana, by Doraphene Boudreaux and Edward Nixon, who helped shape the loving, caring, and strong woman she became.

Shimirra was a loving mother to** Kejuan Willis Gquan and Michael the sons she loved more than anything in this world.and a devoted grandmother to Mykylon, Malacai,Greyson, Germiah, Mykah, Amyah, Conner, and Eliza and Aaleyah.**

She was a cherished sister to Joe, Donald, Devin, Vernon, Lucretia, Trina, Paula, Jamie, and Meka. She also shared a special bond with her daughters-in-law and nieces: Munch, Brittney, Jada, Precious, Kathleen, Tasha Mac, Via, Jamonie, Jaylee, Chloe, and Takira.

Shimirra was known for her warm heart, generous spirit, and the love she showed so freely to the people around her. She valued family above all else and had a special way of making others feel welcomed, supported, and cared for. She loved playing dominoes, enjoying time at casinos, and spending time with the people she loved. She was always willing to give her love, attention, and encouragement to others, making them feel special and appreciated.

Through her laughter, kindness, strength, and genuine concern for others, Shimirra created lasting memories and touched the lives of her family, friends, and community. Her presence brought comfort and joy, and the love she shared will continue to guide and inspire those who knew her.
