Born on August 12, 1968 in ville platte Louisiana Risha lived a life marked by love, kindness, and compassion she touched the lives of everyone who knew her with her warm smile, generous heart, and under-wavering devotion to her family and friends

As a devoted wife she shared 22 wonderful years of marriage with her husband Joe Thomas Jr. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew them.

She is survived by her husband Joe Thomas Jr. Her children Joe Thomas iii and Jamarion Thomas her grandson JaKaizen Wayne her siblings: jeanellea (Mack) Thomas, Linda (Tony) Johnson both of lake Charles, Phyllis Edwards,Glenda Edwards,Anitra (Julian) bowman all of welsh and denitra Edwards of Lafayette a host of nieces,nephews, extended family, and childhood friends Veronica Lartigue, Brandy Clophus, and LaRhonda Prudhomme and godmother Sonja Thorne. she was processed in death by her parent Gertie and Elton Edwards, siblings Betty, Felton, and Brenda Edwards

Risha found joy in shopping, couponing, playing cards, and spending time with her family. Her legacy of love, strength, and generosity will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her
