Melvin Louis Boxie, 68, was born in Lafayette, LA to the late Joseph Pearlis Sr. and Ella Mae Hall Boxie and was a lifelong resident of Jennings, LA. He passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, July 15, 2024. He was a devoted father and grandfather, cherished brother and a dear friend to many. He approached every task with diligence and integrity, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of working with him. In his free time, Melvin enjoyed riding his bicycle, and finding solace and joy in the simple moments spent with his family and friends.
