Mamie Lois Jones (Manuel) 73, was born November 14, 1950, and was called home on Monday, September 16, 2024, in Lake Charles, LA

Mamie was a 1968 graduate of Jeff Davis High School in Jennings, LA

Mamie was a native of Jennings, LA where she was a store clerk at the neighborhood local store Perkins Grocery for several years. She was a devoted wife of 35 years and a proud parent of two daughters. Besides entertaining family and friends, she enjoyed cooking and baking, hosting Pokeno games on Friday nights, and spending time at the casinos in her downtime.

Mamie was preceded in death by her parents Dorothy Ann Manuel and Robert D. Manuel. Her Husband Lee Howard Jones Jr., and siblings Constance Lawrence(sister) Robert Malveaux (Brother) Clemon Malveaux (Brother) Robin Castille (Sister) Cheryl Lavallier (Sister), and Dorothy Harvey

(Aunt).

Mamie leaves to cherish her memory, her two daughters Trina Levon Jones and Shannon MaLane Jones siblings Edgar (Patricia) Manuel, Alonzo (Theresa) Manuel, Reginal (Michelle) Manuel, Roland(Armanda) Manuel, and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
