Leesville—Lori Ann Murray Keene was born November 17, 1957 to the late Lee Vester Murray and Hazel Muse Cryer passed away on April 17, 2026 at the age of 68.

Lori was a graduate of Pickering High School. She had many trades bu the last few years of her life she worked for the Vernon Councel on Aging before retiring. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking for her family, dancing and spending time with her family and friends.

She is servived by her two daughters Christie Folks (Hoye) of Lacassine, La and Kelly Green of New Llano, La. Eight grandchildren Macee Courville (Wesley), Taylor Merritt (Adriean), Christin Carter, Ethan Green, Tanna Barker (Dylan), Renee Glover, Aaliyah Brown (Gabriel) and Allisa Manasco.Ten Great grandchildren with one on the way and a host of neices and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her her husband Shelby D. Keene, her mother Hazel Cryer, her father L.V. Murray, her brother L.V. (Lee) Murray, and sister Theresa Lyons.

A memorial service will be held at Vernon Councel on Aging at a later date in Leesville.

she is survived by her 2 sisters Hazel Hoover and Patricia Cryer from Leesville.
