Latarious Tyree Stewart was born January 20, 2000 in Jennings, LA to Monica Stewart and Joseph Achan. Latarious was known as “Tae”. He departed this life peacefully at the age of 26 on Wednesday evening, July 15, 2026 surrounded by his mother and uncle.

Latarious graduated from Jennings High School. He then went on to a 4 year college at Northwest Tech in Kansas City and majored in Four Stroke Engines. Along the way Tae decided to attend another 2 year college, Athletic Association in Oregon, where he majored in Track and Field.

Latarious enjoyed listening to music, spending time with his family and friends and most of all with his beautiful daughter, Landon. Tae was the life of any events he would attend, always greeting everyone with that big beautiful smile that would light up the room.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother Monica Stewart (Raymond Landry) of Jennings, LA; his father Byron Joseph Achan, Jr.(Rebecca Boutte) of Welsh, LA; one beautiful daughter London Stewart; his girlfriend Danika Nash of Jennings; one brother Jatarious Stewart of Jennings; four sisters Akilah Lamb of Lake Charles, Jadah Rose O’quinn of Lake Charles, Sadie Ziporia Achan of Welsh, and Sarah Ann Achan of Welsh; his two loving grandparents Leola Stewart of Colorado Springs and Cythina Achan of Welsh; his grandfathers Wilson Stewart of St. Martinville, Byron Achan of Welsh, and Mike Wilridge of Jennings.

Tae enjoyed being in the company of all his aunts and uncles, cousins, and dear friends that he loved so much.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents Mildred Celestine, Agnes Robertson, Wilson Stewart, Emma Lou Eaglin, Mable Vital, Frank Eaglin, and Adam Vital.
