visitation Service will be held on Saturday April 12, 2025, at 9:00 am with a funeral service following at 11:00 am at the Mortuary Center of Southwestern Louisiana located at 16388 La-26 Jenning, Louisiana 70546 for Kye Christoper Keys who passed away on March 31, 2025, at Rayville Recovery Center in Rayville, Louisiana.  Pastor Sherard M. Joseph of Jerusalem Baptist Church and Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church both of Crowley, Louisiana will be officiating the service.

The family has requested cremation after the service.

Obituary

On April 14, 1973, Kye Christopher Keys was born to the Late David Fairman and Betty Keys Harrison in Crowley, Louisiana. Kye was baptized at an early age at Morning Missionary Baptist Church in Crowley, Louisiana. On the morning of March 31, 2025, Mr. Kye Keys peacefully entered eternal rest. God allowed Kye to share his love and life for 51 years with his family and friends.

His life continues to shine on through his mother, Betty Keys Harrison of Katy, Texas, two daughters Kya Chiasson and Kyeanna Keys both of Crowley, Louisiana; two sons Tyler Keys and Mark Robinson both of Crowley, Louisiana; four sisters Keshia Keys of Katy, Texas; Schnika Singleton (Kalonji) of Harker Heights, Texas; Rosalyn Keys Marseille (Ted) of Springfield Massachusetts; Rosaina Seymore of Hearne, Texas; thirteen grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Kye preceeded into death by his father David Fairman; his stepfather Ralph Harrison; two brothers, Kody Keys and Ralph Keys; one aunt, Connie Lambert and one Uncle, Jesse Wright.
