Brother James Gerard Achane, Puncho as many called him, transition from earthly labor to heavenly reward at the age of 69 on Saturday August 2,2025. James was born April 8,1956 to Dorothy Achane-Lewis and the late Eugene Joseph. Graduating from Jennings High School in 1973, James later joined the US Army, where he was an E-s Army ammunition Specialist, serving i1 years receiving may accommodations.
James was a family guy and enjoyed spending time with family and friends, where if the right tune started playing he would show off his dance moves, He loved spending time with "pawpaw babies" as he would call them, Mere and Myrah. Puncho will be missed and his memory will live in the hearts of those who knew him.
