Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Faye Kibodeaux, 68, of Lake Arthur, will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the Mortuary Center of Southwest Louisiana Chapel in Jennings. Burial will follow at Andrus Cove Cemetery under the direction of the Mortuary Center of Southwest Louisiana. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM on Saturday September 20th, 2025 and continue until the time of service.

Mrs. Kibodeaux was born on October 24, 1956, in Evangeline, to John Irvin Domingue and Ella Mae Teal Domingue. She passed away on September 16, 2025, at Calcutta House in Lafayette.

Throughout her career, Mrs. Kibodeaux worked as a CNA in several nursing homes, where she provided dedicated and compassionate care to her patients. In her personal time, she enjoyed knitting, cross-stitching, working puzzles, and caring for animals. She also had a fondness for the color purple.

She is survived by her daughters, Eva (Frank) Epperly and Jacquetta (Donnie) Pena of Welsh; five sisters, Sou Clement, Linda Le Jeune, Brenda Hardesty, Mary Landry, and Anna (Russell) LaFosse; one brother, John Robert Domingue; two grandchildren, Darion Gatte and Bentley Pena; and one great-grandchild, Jaxson Gatte.

Mrs. Kibodeaux was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Antoine Kibodeaux Jr.; her parents; her brother, Rocky James Domingue; and one grandchild, Madison Gatte.
