On December 9,2024, Carlton Guidry,JR. was called home to eternal rest by our Heavenly Father. Carlton was born on December 2,1949, to Velma Senegal and Carlton Guidry,SR.

Carlton was a member of Jesus Worship Center for over 20 years. He also served his country as a Army Veteran in Vietnam and was a reserved police officer for many years.Carlton will be remembered and truly missed for his kindness, wisdom, love, and most of all his sense of humor.

Mourning his departure are his wife of 33 years Cassandra Guidry; daughters Ashley Guidry(Byron) of Jennings,LA; Shonda Savoy(Darion) of Lafayette,LA;Carlas Francis of Houston,TX; sons Ty'Von Guidry(Madison) of Jennings,LA; Jaron Guidry(Michelle) of Moss Bluff,LA; Wilbert Guidry(Rashanda) of Port Arthur,Tx; Carlton Francis of Crowley,LA that he raised as his own; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brothers Kelvin Senegal(Mary) of Churchpoint,LA and Bentley Senegal(Angela) of Lafayette,LA; sisters Dinah Brown of Opelousas,LA and Matilda Savoy of Crowley,LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother Velma Senegal; father Carlton Guidry,SR; brothers James Bobb,Charles Bobb, Dudley Vallier, Godfrey Guidry, Allen Cormier, and Rodrick Bobb SR; sisters Ramona Freeman, and Joy Renee Nelson; and grandson Shomari Lamb.
